A lady said quote "1kg of fat weighs the same as 1kg of muscle, they both weigh a kilogram! Its their volume (or size) that is different. Muscle is heaps denser than fat. A block of fat takes up more space than a block of muscle. So measure away (although plateaus are very frustrating even if you are shrinking).makes sense to me"unquote
Another said quote"The weight verses mass this is correct.. its very interesting to actually see it as well. BUT for a woman to put on muscle mass ( like a lot as in 500 grams in a week) you would be needing to be on a a full protein enriched diet and doing hard out weights and lots of cardio, like training for a body builders comp."unquote I found both statements interesting ..... When I stated 500gms in previous days blog i was only using as an example and yes plateaus also have a lot to do with weight loss being weird....so will keep striving to beat the gain on the scales this muscle verse fat thing is doing my head in cheers
